MFME is an emulator for European Fruit Machines. It emulates UK and European style fruit machines of varying vintages and covers a wide range of the technologies used.
These days, slot machine emulation for retro arcade gear, it’s become quite the thing among tinkerers and developers alike. Some folks are chasing that replicating the classic experience of fruit machines those digital slots that were everywhere between maybe the late ’70s up until the ’90s. It’s not a totally straightforward process.
People usually end up dipping into emulators like MAME or MFME, puzzling over ROM directories, and, hmm, even picking up bits of forgotten arcade lingo along the way.
